Mobile Physiotherapy

Tailored for those who struggle to attend clinic appointments, whether it be due to childcare, reduced mobility or other commitments, we can provide a comprehensive and thorough assessment in the comfort of your own home.

What do we treat?

At Whyte Physio, we have experience in treating most areas of the body.

We are able to treat the following areas, both for new onset (acute) and longstanding (chronic):

Get in touch

"Alex the physio was prompt and polite also.

In the session he was very knowledgeable and explained all the stages in a manner that I understood.

When we discussed options again it was done very well and not pushy. Everything was explained to me."

  • Neck pain, including trapped nerves

  • Back pain, including sciatica

  • Lower limb - Hip, Knee, Ankle, Foot and Heel pain

  • Upper Limb - Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Hand, Thumb and Shoulder Blade Pain

  • Chronic Pain

  • Polytrauma

What to Expect

Your first appointment will be 60 minutes. Around 50-75% of this will be history taking and assessment performing due diligence to make sure Physiotherapy treatment is appropriate, and ruling out serious conditions.

After this, we'll feed back the assessment findings to provide a diagnosis, and start treatment. This will usually involve some exercises or lifestyle changes to work on between sessions, as well as some hands on treatment if this is required.

If you have an upper limb/neck problem, it is helpful for you to wear something that allows us to see your neck and shoulder blades, such as a vest or sports bra for females.

If you have a lower limb problem, it is helpful for you to wear shorts, or baggy/loose trousers that will roll up easily and allow your leg to be stretched during the assessment.
