About Us
Hi, I’m Alex – the physiotherapist behind Whyte Physio.
I offer specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy delivered in your own home, designed for people who may struggle to access clinic appointments due to mobility, transport, childcare, or other limitations or commitments.
My practice is built around evidence-based treatment, honest advice, and a holistic approach to rehabilitation. I have experience supporting people with injury recovery, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain; and I have a strong interest in strength and conditioning to support long-term recovery outcomes.
Alongside running Whyte Physio, I work in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist and Team Leader in MSK Outpatients.
Outside of work, I’m a semi-professional ice hockey player and enjoy training in the gym, playing tennis, and hiking with my golden retriever.
Hi, I’m Ellie - the one behind the scenes at Whyte Physio.
I’m a physiotherapist by background and work as a rehabilitation case manager, supporting people who have sustained injuries and need coordinated rehabilitation.
Whyte Physio was born out of the frustration of how difficult it can be to find specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists who can provide treatment in people’s homes, to facilitate high quality rehabilitation and aid improved functional outcomes whilst access to clinic is a barrier.
Seeing the difference that skilled, honest and evidence-based physiotherapy can make to someone’s recovery was a big part of the inspiration behind Whyte Physio. Alex’s values and experience supporting patients through his work in the NHS made creating this service feel like a natural fit.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, CrossFit, and long walks with our golden retriever (who deserved her spot in the intro photo!).
